19. März 2006 - Architekturarchiv Slowenien

The composition of the volumes of the residential-office building helps to solve the complex geometry of an urban corner where residential buildings meet office buildings. Thus the new building, divided into two units, adapts to the adjacent buildings, while as a whole entering into a dialogue with the old town across the street. On the corner, the architect has designed an open space, a piazza. The ground floor hosts shops, the first floor offices, and the top floor flats. Their different content is also reflected in the facade.
