Akteur
The office was established in the year 1998. Architects Krzysztof Ingarden and Jacek Ewý, both members of Association of Polish Architects, maintain their partnership design practice from 1989. Earlier, in years 1989-2000 the firm was known under the name „JET Atelier”.
An artistic transformation of „contextual reality“ into the meaningful architectural space by means of creative approach to architectural language with all spectrum of its signs and metaphors - is the artistic aim of the I&E design team. The design strategy focus on experimenting in search for new materials and forms capable to create architectural representations of such ideas and conflicts as „nature and culture“, „natural and artificial“, „global and regional“ , „national character - local identity“, „historical and contemporary“ . The team is creating new architectural expression by combining advanced technology with traditional materials, arts and craftsmanship.
The office consisting of young, though experienced architects is undertaking the most demanding and complex tasks ranging from cultural facilities (Krakow Congress Center, Polish Pavilion EXPO 2005, Aichi, Japan; Krakow City Information Pavilion; Gallery Europe – Far East, Krakow); embassies (Polish Embassy in Tokyo, Japanese Embassy in Warsaw); education facilities (PAT Library, Japanese Language School, Park of Experience, Krakow), offices (Rondo Business Center, Krakow), to housing developments, logistic centers, factories, etc.
