The villa is far from representing a traditional Slovak house. It is a remix of references to modern architecture development from Le Corbusier to Kahn, aIl packed in glass. It does not interfere the site; instead it opens up to the landscape. Surprisingly enough it also opens its glassed facade towards north view to Tatras panorama, what is a long believed taboo of typology usually applied in the mountains for climatic reasons. The solitaire building in two levels with fiat roof is inserted to its site in east-west direction, the entrance from south is dominated by the extensive terrace. The northern artificial glacier lake makes the building plot a part of the larger Tatras landscape. Tomáš Bujna
